A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY

To act as a CT silo combustor chamber specialist with responsibility for achieving the technical project objectives delegated to him by Argentina District Service Office (DSO).

Also responsible for efficient management of cost, time, quality, safety, sub-contractors work and other efforts.

Is responsible for all activity related to gas turbines maintenance that are fitted and supporting DSO team for all technical items related to execution work.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Long Term Service Agreement, O&M and open market service projects for Siemens large gas turbines SGT X 2000 E (X) units.
Performs specialized, technician level work in the field in one or more of the defined specialty tasks (assembly, disassembly and repair of major components like mixing casings and inner casings).
Work independently and with team members to disassemble, inspect, conduct minor repairs, assemble, and modify gas turbine silo combustor chambers.
Performs day to day activities as part of a team or as a standalone function
Optimally identifies technical or schedule problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including escalation of more sophisticated issues to a higher level
Provides all required documentation and reports in a timely manner and according to procedures.
Performs check list inspections and compile records to document condition of equipment and assure quality.
Works closely with site leads, supervisors, and fellow employees and assist them in meeting customer needs.
Ensure strict adherence to compliance & other business process guidelines throughout the whole organization.

WHAT YOU BRING

High school "technical" diploma (must)
Experience in site maintenance at least 3 years handson gas turbines mechanic experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Expertise to use hand or power tools like manual grinding machines
Expertise to read Precision Tools such as Micrometers, Indicators, Calipers, Scales
Must have the ability to operate overhead crane
Must be able to travel outofcity and work away from home base up to 70% of the time.
You have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and are proficient in spoken and written English
Interpersonal skills: Works optimally with others from a diverse group of backgrounds, demonstrate respect for coworkers' colleagues and clients.
