Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the development, architecture, and other engineering partners to facilitate DevOps capabilities (Version Control, CI/CD, Automation, Experimentation, Lean, Observability, etc.).
  • Develop CI/CD templates (pipeline as code) that enables selfservice CI/CD (ADO/Jenkins).
  • Build, test and maintain infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software.
  • Build modular, reusable Automation as Code templates (Terraform, Python etc.).
  • Build mandatory governance gates for CI/CD (code scans, security scans, linting, container scanning etc.).
  • Help app teams build, support and design pipeline orchestration and automation.
  • Sharing knowledge, training and best practices for DevOps standards and capabilities with other engineering team members.
  • Contribute automation and pipeline templates to Pipeline Library.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Passionate about learning and implementing new technologies.
  • Experience working with various DevOps/ALM tools.
  • Experience with DevOps engineering and process automation.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/Python/Ansible etc.).
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
  • Experience with cloud based solutions via CI/CD (Azure/AWS).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
