Your Position:

Main Responsabilities:

Leads the medical department activities and provides medical attention and advice for work and non-work related cases. Ensures the company is in compliance with all health requirements as outlined in various governmental laws.


What Skills You Need:


  • Performs clinical evaluation and care of employees.
  • Administers prescription drug policies and procedures as required to enable adequate treatments.
  • Conducts medical examinations as required for new hired employees to ensure that employees are physically and medically able to perform job assignments.
  • Conducts workplace walk arounds/assessments and exposure follow up.

What Makes You Stand Out:


  • Understands legal issues affecting area of responsibility, able to identify issues associated with assigned tasks, and able to spot ethical issues in practice.
  • Effective writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy and style.
  • Clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Knowledge of training processes, systematic training approach, adult learning principles
  • Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention as it applies to improving employee health and productivity.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and requirements.

Education:


  • Degree in a Health/Medicine discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Doctorate degree or equivalent
  • Occupational medical experience years)
  • Medical clinical practice experience years)
