Description

  • Work closely with the (Assoc.) Director (A/DD), Operations to drive operational improvements, including owning individual projects and/or subprojects.
  • Proactively identify and address operational processes which could benefit from greater efficiency and standardization.
  • Own tools/dashboards/reports: from initial understanding of business requirements to creation and development to testing to ongoing management.
  • Develop and maintain process maps, howto guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to team operations.
  • Facilitate critical operational information exchange amongst Syneos One team members through meetings, written communications, and project management tool(s).
  • Maintain Document Management systems, ensuring they are appropriately utilized and easily navigable.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and metrics related to Syneos One team performance.
  • Partner with internal Syneos Health functions, such as Human Resource, Finance, IT, Legal/Contracting to drive operational initiatives.
  • Storyboard and develop executive leadershipfacing content independently for review by AD/D, Operations and other Syneos One Leadership.
  • Provide adhoc support for special projects, including crossdepartment workstreams, while independently managing deadlines and competing commitments.
  • Communicate detailed, appropriate direction to onshore and offshore support staff; effectively manage upward and amongst peers.
  • Mentor and/or directly manage Operations (Sr.) Analysts.

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 34 years relevant experience.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) is required.
  • Slide design and story boarding skills are required.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI, Smartsheets, VBA modeling, additional analytical tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong selfawareness and emotional intelligence to effectively navigate a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and multiple concurrent assignments on short timelines.
  • Performs well under pressure, tight deadlines.
  • Manages competing priorities and instructions.
  • Ability to travel as needed (~25%).
Preferred

  • Master's Degree (MBA, MS).
  • Advanced technical proficiency / certifications.
  • Business analytics experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Experience in operations within a CRO or life sciences services company.
  • Project management experience / certifications.**_
