We are currently seeking a Remote Joinery Drafter with experience in furniture design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed joinery drawings and specifications for various furniture projects. Your expertise in drafting and your understanding of materials, dimensions, and construction methods will be vital in creating functional and aesthetic designs.
This remote position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while managing project timelines. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients are essential for successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joinery Drafter, specifically with furniture design.
- Strong proficiency in Autocad
- Ability to create detailed, accurate joinery drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with wood types, stone, glass, construction methods, and finishing techniques.
- Experience sourcing materials and understanding cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a complete portfolio showcasing related projects
