Alejandro Barkász

I'm a developer with a strong foundation in Computer Graphics, particularly for games. I have solid experience with graphics algorithms, C/C++, and Shader programming, and I’m always exploring new technologies in development.

While graphics is my main area, I'm actively expanding my expertise into AI, Physics, Mathematics, and Hardware programming—especially in the context of next-gen consoles. My goal is to become a more well-rounded developer, not limited to graphics alone.

I also work on personal game dev and tools projects to keep learning and experimenting.

I'm mostly a graphics programmer with over 15 years of experience in game development, working across AAA studios and indie projects in Europe and Latin America. My core expertise lies in real-time rendering, shader development, and engine optimization for next-gen consoles and PC. I’m highly proficient in C/C++, Unity, Vulkan, and proprietary engines, and I’ve contributed to titles like EA-F1, Horizon Zero Dawn PC, Assassin’s Creed, and Master of Orion.
Throughout my career, I’ve taken on roles ranging from Lead Graphics Programmer to Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring others along the way. I’m passionate about pushing visual boundaries in gaming and constantly explore emerging technologies in graphics, AI, and hardware programming to stay ahead of the curve.

I studied Engineering in Information Systems at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, where I built a strong foundation in software development, algorithms, and systems architecture.

I'm committed to continuous learning and have completed various online courses through platforms like Nvidia Deep Learning Institute and Udemy, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence and advanced programming techniques that complement my work in graphics and game development.
